Hello,

We won a major, but tentative, victory in court today.

A federal judge in California has granted a temporary injunction, blocking SB27, the clearly partisan and unconstitutional law passed by the California legislature and signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.

This means that President Donald Trump will be allowed on the ballot in 2020 (for now).

This decision rightfully stops the Democrats’ petty politics and their efforts to disenfranchise millions of California voters and suppress Republican voter turnout. We are hopeful that the courts will continue to see through the Democrats’ petty partisan maneuvers and that any appeal of this ruling will be immediately denied.

It is unconscionable that Democrats continue wasting time and taxpayer dollars on political tricks instead of focusing their efforts and resources on fixing California’s desperate problems such as homelessness, our failing education system and the skyrocketing cost of living.

I must emphasize, this is a victory, but it might be a temporary one. The state lawsuits filed by the California Republican Party and me are still active. And we have little doubt that democrats will double down on their efforts to suppress Republican voter turnout.
