My opponent, Senator John Cornyn, has $9 million, and counting, to spend on this race. That's a lot of money to compete with, but I've got this grassroots team in my corner, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you exactly why your support at this stage in the race is so important. Here's what we're doing:

- Keep me on the road so I can meet with Texans across the state
- Paying for ads that spread this campaign's message far and wide
- Hiring staff to build a dynamic campaign from the ground up
