Wow. 

Like every day in 2020, I made no assumptions about what I could expect from #GivingTuesday this year. Knowing circumstances weren’t at all like last year, we still set the same lofty campaign goal: $100,000.

This year has been so unpredictable — and that has created real and new vulnerabilities in the lives of children we serve. But your commitment to helping kids is rising to meet the needs.

There was cheering last night at 6pm as we reached our goal, and amazement as we woke up this morning to see the #GivingTuesday 2020 campaign had raised $131K by midnight. We’re speechless at your generosity.

Thanks to you, and the Colquitt family who matched the first $50K you donated, #GivingTuesday raised more than it ever has. I was so moved seeing people give during such extraordinary times… and in such extravagant ways. Because of what you’ve done, more children will be reached by our Prevention Education and Survivor Care programs. It matters for each of them. In the time they need it most, you are helping children overcome.
