As the director of the Ohio Main Street Initiative, I work to build our bench of great public servants at the local level -- which means I recruit and train Democratic candidates to run for local offices in all 88 counties.

As we look ahead to what's next in 2021 and beyond, this work is more important than ever. Building our bench might not be super flashy, but it's a long-term investment in our party's future.
