We’re excited to congratulate Shenna Bellows on her election to be Maine’s next Secretary of State!

Secretary of State-elect Bellows will be the first woman to take on this essential role in our state. 

We know that Shenna’s experience as a State Senator for two terms, leadership on both the Labor and Housing Committee and the Senate Ethics Committee, dedication to her work as Executive Director of the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine, and passion for expanding voter participation and rights will serve Maine well.

We worked closely with Shenna throughout her tenure in the Legislature and are confident in her abilities to fearlessly tackle the many challenges that come with this role.
