Dear John,
We want to thank you for your support on Giving Tuesday! Together, we raised over 5,000 dollars.
This money will be put to good use. Over the next year, we will redouble our efforts to close the notorious T. Don Hutto immigration jail: the all-women, asylum-seeker detention center just outside of Austin.
We will be there from day one with the new administration, standing with formerly detained women, our ally organizations, Congressional leadership, you calling for T. Don Hutto’s long-term contract to be canceled, and for this infamous detention center to be closed once and for all.
We can’t do it without your support. Together, we will build a world based on our collective power, our collective gifts and our collective hope.
