Since his appointment to the Department of
Justice, Bill Barr has wrecked democratic norms and traditions in
order to protect Trump.
That's why we can't believe we're saying this --
but his announcement that there was no widespread fraud was a
major victory for the safety of our elections.
Can you thank Bill Barr now for doing the bare
minimum to protect our democracy?

Since his appointment in early 2019, Bill Barr has turned
the Department of Justice into Trump's personal legal weapon.
From disenfranchising voters to covering up his blatant abuses of
power, Barr has enabled this administration's worst impulses.
That's what makes his recent announcement that there was
no widespread voter fraud all the more significant.
If even Bill Barr is sticking his neck out in favor of
our elections, it's clear that Trump is taking his dangerous
conspiracy theories too far.
(We never thought we'd say this) Can you add your name
now to thank Bill Barr? He did the absolute minimum to protect
our democracy, which is still somehow better than Mitch McConnell
and the majority of the GOP.

John: Bill Barr is a
bad guy. The actions he's taken have eroded our democratic
institutions and pushed Trump closer to authoritarianism.
We're not going to stop fighting back against the impact
of everything he's done -- and it's going to take years of
organizing to fix the damage he caused.
But in this moment, with Trump attempting to steal an
election, he did the right thing. That's why we're acknowledging
that he cleared a very, very low bar.
Add your name now to thank Bill Barr for (surprisingly!)
clearing that low bar.
