It’s no surprise that Donald Trump is having a difficult time accepting his loss in this year's presidential election.
But his refusal to recognize the will of the people has long-term consequences for our democratic institutions. He's been using his platform to spew misinformation on election fraud and undermine the validity of our democratic process, and GOP leaders are standing by and letting it happen.
We cannot allow Donald Trump to disparage our voting system and harm the American people's faith in our democracy.

The President of the United States is actively sowing mistrust in our democratic process, and it's extremely worrisome for all future elections.
Just because the results were not in his favor, does not mean that our elections were not secure. In fact, there is absolutely no evidence to back Trump's claims of election fraud. Republicans are well aware of this, yet continue to feed into his harmful games.
Nobody likes to lose, but nobody likes a sore loser either. And in this case, Trump's refusal to accept his loss is putting the future of our elections at risk by damaging voter confidence in our elections.
