Citizenshipworks Team Welcome 3

Impact 2020:

Dear Friends,

In a challenging year, we are proud of our work for immigrants and advocates. The Immigration Advocates Network's online tools and Remote Legal Support Guide provided critical support, to help organizations and the community move forward despite the pandemic.

  • Citizenshipworks generated more than 4,300 fileable N-400 applications this year, saving applicants millions in legal fees. Our newly launched "About Citizenship" learning center has had 22,000 visits already.

  • Since 2016, immi has helped over 200,000 people know their rights, identify a form of relief, make a plan, and connect with trusted legal assistance. To help remote service delivery this year, we launched chatbots on immi.org and whatsapp, and piloted a new program called "immi Connect" for virtual, secure consultations.

  • The IAN member's site had nearly 600,000 visits to our legal materials, alerts, trainings calendar, news, and legal directory of service providers. More than 2,200 people attended 11 free legal and service delivery webinars. We had over 3,500 downloads of our timely publication to help the field serve clients during COVID: "Remote Legal Support: A Guide for Nonprofit and Pro Bono Innovation."

IAN's tools were invaluable, as immigrants sought legal help online and our non-profit partners moved to remote services. Here is what we heard from you all  -

“Excellent, very satisfied with the guide and help provided for me. I am very grateful to Citizenshipworks, and I recommend it for everything it does for me, and it can do for other migrants who need help. Thank you very much.”

"IAN is very helpful in developing the tools to help us do our work better."

"The webinar was an easy to follow primer for a novice immigration court practitioner. I like the tips sheet. Well done!"

Now we need your help to continue our work, to prepare for 2021 and the exciting opportunities and challenges ahead. Donate to support us at https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/donate/

In Solidarity,
Rodrigo & the IAN Team
