Earlier this month, we launched a goal to beat last quarter's number of 5,799 donors from D.C. before the FEC deadline. We wanted to send a quick update on that goal:
We've seen a strong response. People in D.C. have stepped up and donated for the first time to support Elizabeth's plans for big, structural change.
But if we want to stay on track to hit that goal before the end-of-month deadline, we need a strong response from this grassroots community. Specifically, we need 64 donors from D.C. today.
After the September 30 FEC deadline, all eyes will be on our fundraising numbers to see if our campaign has strong support in D.C. and across the country.
We need to show that our grassroots movement is only getting stronger, with more and more people saying "I have a stake in this fight" and chipping in whatever they can for the first time.
