Jessica Cisneros for Congress

Can you believe this?

This morning, in San Diego, Donald Trump visited the border. There, he signed his name on the very wall that divides our country and demonizes our immigrant community. Trump wanted to show just how proud he was of his wall. With a wall currently being built close to our homes in Laredo, this is an insult to our own community affected by this division.

Our current representative, Henry Cuellar, has taken money from groups who profit off of immigrant detention centers. Clearly, he cannot be trusted to lead a diverse community in South Texas that is faced with issues of immigrant injustice daily. Cuellar makes excuses about the wall saying Trump could do worse, but we won’t stand for any it.

We need leaders who will stand up against bigotry and division, not who will enable it. That’s why we need to send Jessica Cisneros to Congress. Will you help elect Jessica so she can continue to represent and protect our immigrant community in South Texas?

Jessica's parents are Mexican immigrants who came because Jessica’s sister required urgent medical attention. They came to Texas to build a better life for Jessica and her sister, working hard and starting a small business in their town.

Stories like these are why Jessica became an immigration attorney, and why she’s committed to fighting for immigrant rights and standing up to Trump’s hateful policies.

But she can only do that if she makes it to Washington, and that’s why we need your help. Please make a gift so we have the resources we need to win.
