Friend,

Our plastic pollution problem can feel overwhelming -- but support from people like you helps U.S. PIRG make a difference.

This Giving Tuesday, generous donations from our supporters allowed U.S. PIRG to continue to advocate for national and state laws, as well as corporate policies, that will decrease plastic production across the country.

Together, we're working to stop plastic pollution at its source by turning off the "tap" of plastic production.

This month, thousands of supporters of U.S. PIRG and our national network signed our petition that asks Whole Foods to stop using single-use plastic packaging in its stores. Between this petition, our social media campaign and our press coverage, Whole Foods heard us loud and clear -- but we're not stopping now. With your continued support, we believe Whole Foods will step up to do the right thing.

We're so grateful to our supporters for helping us keep our work going this Giving Tuesday -- and all year. In addition to fueling our Whole Foods campaign, Giving Tuesday donations allow us to continue to work toward banning the worst pesticides, getting toxics out of our lives, mitigating climate change and so much more.

None of our work is possible without you. We appreciate your support, and we're grateful for the opportunity to work toward a better -- and less wasteful -- future.

Thank you,

Faye Park
President

P.S. If you missed the Giving Tuesday deadline, don't worry. You can still support U.S. PIRG by making a donation today.
