*We are looking for a Business Support Officer (L3) to join the newly formed Directorate Support Team in Adult Social Care, to work 18.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. Team Information* The Directorate Support Team is a small but efficient team, working to maintain essential and statutory back office functions of Adult Social Care; these include (but are not limited to) administrative support for Heads of Service and Service Managers, coordinating responses to Ombudsman / complaints and Cllr queries, financial transactions and allocations of assessments requiring authorisation.
The successful candidate should be able to work quickly and efficiently, and to required deadlines. Good communication is essential, as the role requires liaison with both citizens and other social care and health professionals on a regular basis. * * *How to Apply* Please ensure your personal statement addresses the points in the Person Specification, and make sure this is relevant to the team / role you are interested in. * * *Essential Requirements*
* Experience of planning and organising own workload and be able to work flexibly in a pressurised environment;
