Mecklenburg YR Members,

This year, your board has simplified the process for joining to help make membership simple. In the past we used to have memberships run a year from when they are paid. This year we are going to change that policy by vote of the board. All memberships, regular and associate, will terminate on December 31st of the calendar year. We will then begin running memberships from January until December of the year. If a member pre-pays in November or December it will run throughout the next year, but any payments before that will make the membership good from the date paid until the immediate following December 31st. We will be beginning this policy immediately.

If you join/renew your membership before December 25th, you are eligible to vote in the upcoming election on January 26th, 2021.

Your membership dues for the next year are as follows:
$30 for members 18-40 years old in Mecklenburg County
$50 for everyone else

As an incentive to join, we are offering a discount on our state Young Republicans Christmas event for all members in good standing.

NC Federation of Young Republicans is having our 1st Annual Christmas Awards Dinner to honor the hard work YRs across the state have done this year. Newly elected US Representative Madison Cawthorn and NC GOP Chair Michael Whatley will be the featured speakers of the night.

Not to mention the main event, the awards! Nominations are in and the awards committee are deciding on the winners for this years top members and groups. So make sure you're in attendance for a big night! We will use this opportunity to help raise funds to continue our efforts in electing Republicans and training future young office holders.

The early bird price for non-YR members is $75 which ends this Saturday the 5th. If you are a dues paying Young Republican member the rate is $35 with the discount code.
