Did you know Americans received 48 billion robocalls last year? It’s out of control.
And if my phone ringing all day is any indication, it sure seems like the spam calls are getting worse. I’m ready to toss my phone in the river.
Here’s the good news: I co-sponsored legislation to end robocalls that passed the Senate by a 97-1 vote earlier this year.
Washington rarely agrees on anything these days, but when we get 97 votes for a bill in the Senate, we’ve got something good.
I’m calling on President Trump to make it official and sign my legislation that will end these outrageous robocalls once and for all. Will you add your name next to mine?
The TRACED Act empowers federal agencies to do their jobs, stop robocalls, and protect consumers from this overwhelming problem.
We have to strengthen federal law to protect people across the country from these spam calls, and we’re really close to getting it done.
