John,
It's #GivingTuesday ([link removed][UNIQID]) ! Help us raise $10,000 to continue building connections between education and faith, empowering young people, and growing our work for justice by giving a gift today ([link removed][UNIQID]) !
Become a monthly sustaining donor ([link removed][UNIQID]) by January 1, and receive a small thank you gift!
I give to ISN because as an undergraduate student, my understanding of a faith that does justice was highly formed by the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice. I saw a direct connection between my academic endeavors and the call of the Gospel.
Participating in IFTJ influenced what I majored in, the books and articles I read, and the ways I found and promoted community. Essentially, I was empowered.
Now, as an educator, I see that empowerment in my students. When students attend programs such as the IFTJ or the Arrupe Leaders’ Summit, they return back to their schools emboldened in their academic, civic, and spiritual identity to bring change that benefits all stakeholders in the community.
