Unless this is the first email you have looked at today — in which case, we're honored! — you are no doubt aware today is "Giving Tuesday". Last week, we announced we're using Giving Tuesday to kick off a year-end drive to get 100 new Green Party Monthly Sustainers.

But before we get to that, let's check in on what the Parties of War and Wall Street are giving us, on this "Giving Tuesday". For starters, they haven't given us new COVID-19 relief legislation, and the rent is due today. They haven't given this country a chance of getting the pandemic under control. Trump, at least, appears to have finally given up on his delusions of re-election.

The Democratic Party's President-Elect Joe Biden has given us...Neera Tanden as his cabinet pick for the Office of Management and Budget...? NEERA TANDEN? Neera. Tanden. The same Neera Tanden who has been backing cuts to Social Security for years? Neera Tanden, who is the epitome of the neoliberal, faux-woke, free-market-obsessed, elitist, capitalist Democratic Party power structure that drove this country into the arms of Trumpism?

Neera Tanden, who spent the last four years smearing YOU as a Green Party member, voter or ally as a traitor, an unwitting stooge or willing agent of foreign powers, in the worst outbreak of xenophobic Left-baiting since McCarthyism? For all of that, Joe Biden gave Neera Tanden a promotion. Now you know what he has in store for you over the next four years. Unless we work together to stop him.

Friend, will you work with us to reach our year-end goal of 100 new Green Party Monthly Sustainers? Monthly Sustainers are so critical for having the resources to recruit, train and run Green Party candidates to win office and win real solutions that can't wait!

It is difficult to overstate how critical these next few weeks and months are. Grassroots election campaigns are won through preparation. Greens don't buy their way into office! We need to provide training and resources to the 2021 class of candidates ASAP. Please give today to support that effort.

The average Monthly Sustainer contribution to the Green Party is $12.67. If we can get 100 new people contributing at that $12.67 average, we will be in great shape for 2021.

We'd be thrilled if you became a Monthly Sustainer today, at any level, and if you spread the word to your fellow Greens and allies.

If becoming a Monthly Sustainer does not feel like a good fit for your right now, any amount you can contribute today will to towards getting that next win for a Green candidate!

Giving Tuesday is great. It's important for people to take a day in the year to reflect on the causes and organizations they want to support.

We know, however, that creating real, lasting change is a year-round project. That's why we're asking Greens to make this Tuesday the first of many "Giving Tuesdays" for 2021. Help us meet our Sustainer Drive Goal before the end 2020!
