This year, we wanted to celebrate #GivingTuesday a different way. We wanted to give thanks for YOU.
In the last few months, members of this community have chosen to give back to our community in a big way. This generosity and compassion for your neighbors in need has made all the difference. 2020 is unlike anything we could’ve ever imagined.
And thanks to these caring and dedicated supporters:
• Carla’s kids never missed a meal when she lost her job;
• The Washington family moved out of the shelter to purchase their home;
• Nevaeh counted to 10 all by herself;
• Lena talked about her depression for the first time with a therapist ; and
• Ahmed found a supportive mentor and friend to guide him while he applied for new jobs.
On this #GivingTuesday, we are so grateful to every member of our NVFS family. Because without them, this life-changing work would not happen.
