Dear Friend,

Invasive technology like facial recognition and other surveillance tools is making its way from corporate boardrooms into the hands of the police. We need your help to break down this growing corporate culture of racism, violence, and surveillance.

Team #MediaJustice is committed to corporate and government accountability as a cornerstone of safeguarding racial justice. Together, we’ve led or collaborated on efforts to win concessions from Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Google to stop selling surveillance tools to law enforcement like the FBI, ICE, and local police who use them to monitor historically overpoliced communities. It may be like playing whack-a-mole, but you make it possible for us to shut down each attempt to corrupt the systems meant to protect us for corporate profit.

This holiday season, we’re asking for your help to dismantle Amazon’s reach into our communities. The uprisings clearly showed that we want a world beyond police. Instead, Amazon has doubled down by quietly positioning itself as the new leader in high-tech policing:

Will you help MediaJustice reach our $20,000 Giving Tuesday goal?

Your support is critical to ensuring grassroots activists around the country have the resources to raise awareness, mobilize, and advocate for change.

If you’ve already donated, thank you! Make sure to learn more about the campaign, pledge to #BreakUpwithAmazon, or support Amazon workers
