Bringing us another update on the trajectory of everyone's favorite mayor from Indiana, the AP has reported that "Buttigieg, the former Indiana mayor and onetime presidential candidate, has been mentioned as a contender for several Cabinet agencies."

Buttigieg has been a stalwart champion for Biden on the campaign trail, stumping for the president-elect at rallies and even going onto Fox News to spar with Republicans on their own turf. As POLITICO reports, these efforts now mean that "Buttigieg has some chips to cash in with Biden."
