Help Us Recognize Doctors Who Provide Outstanding Care Near the End of Life

Nominations are open for The Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards, which recognize physicians in the United States who have demonstrated exemplary care of patients near the end of life through their communication and compassion at the bedside, their research, and/or their service to their community. There are five prizes: one prize of $25,000 for a senior physician, one prize of $25,000 for a mid-career physician, and three prizes of $15,000 each for early-career physicians. The 2020 awards are dedicated to the late Dr. Richard Payne, a leader in palliative medicine and former Hastings Center board member, Cunniff-Dixon Foundation trustee, and chair of the physician awards committee.
