Your gift X2 for healthcare workers
Hi Friend,
This past summer, I volunteered at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in New Mexico. What had been a vibrant community with events and family gatherings weeks before was now silent, living in quarantine with a devastating virus.
The resources at the medical center there are like those in many smaller towns across the world: small budgets, older equipment, and fewer staff. That’s why Project HOPE is sending training, supplies and volunteers like me where outbreaks mean health workers are stretched to their limits, working long hours away from their families over the holidays.
Please make a gift today to help provide 2X the lifesaving resources.
For just a few more hours, every #GivingTuesday gift will be DOUBLED to provide equipment, medicines and supplies to communities impacted by health crises and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please don’t let this special match opportunity pass you by. Act now and make 2X the lifesaving impact.
Steve

“Crouching over your patient trying to start an IV or draw
blood, they start coughing. You had them put a mask on, but all you
can do is hope your PPE will protect you.”

Steve is a Registered Nurse from Seattle who traveled to the Northern
Navajo Medical Center in New Mexico, volunteering his expertise to care for
COVID-19 patients — and putting his own safety at risk.
Fortunately he’s just one of many brave health care heroes fighting
this pandemic in overwhelmed medical centers… in busy pop-up testing
sites… in long-term care homes where those most vulnerable to the virus
are cared for… and in communities across the globe.
