Conference Staff Returns to Remote Work
Due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 in Columbia and Boone County, the Conference Center staff has returned to remote working through the calendar year end. All [link removed] conference staff is available by email address and/or mobile phone. The building is closed to guests and outside groups and will have limited financial and administrative staff on site to continue working on year-end reporting and finalizing the Conference audit. Please make plans to mail any paperwork or payments. If an in-person visit is necessary, please call before coming by the office to make arrangements for curbside drop-off. The final date to submit 2020 apportionment payments is Jan. 8, 2021. Any apportionment payment sent after Dec. 31, 2020 will need to be sent with guaranteed delivery before 12:00 p.m. on Jan. 8 (i.e., FedEx/UPS/USPS Guaranteed Delivery). You should also contact Brooke Sweezer mailto:
[email protected] [email protected]; (573-441-1770 ext. 222) and notify her if you have sent payment after Dec. 31. Hand-delivered payments to the Columbia office must be arranged by appointment due to in-person safety restrictions in the building. Any payments received after 12:00 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2020 will not be credited to 2020 apportionments. Please contact Brooke Sweezer with questions.

Library Builder Grant
The Missouri Conference is partnering with Little Free Library to impact communities around the state! In our pursuit of connecting 100,000 students with 100,000 books, we encourage churches to consider whether a Little Free Library in their community could meet a need. Churches can apply for $250 micro-grants for materials to build, stock and maintain a Little Free Library in a neighborhood of their choice.
