Dear Friends,

Entrepreneurship is as American as apple pie—and just as widely loved. It’s in our country’s DNA.

So why does the government seem determined to make entrepreneurship a thing of the past? As PRI scholar Wayne Winegarden showed in his widely-discussed report Entrepreneurship as a Pathway to the American Dream:

“Government-created barriers to opportunity are standing in the way of immigrants and low-income entrepreneurs launching a startup and accessing credit and capital to grow their business and hire more workers.”

How do we reverse this trend—and help these hard-striving individuals escape poverty and reclaim the American Dream? By breaking down these barriers and embracing free-market reforms.

This Giving Tuesday, we ask you to stand with us once again. Your support of PRI allows our scholars to produce nonpartisan and solutions-focused research to expose the bad thinking that leads to bad policy.

Right now, it’s more important than ever that we research and publicize the data showing the negative consequences of big government “solutions” to inequality—and that we advance market-based solutions that work best in the real world.

Your special Giving Tuesday tax-deductible gift of $50, $100, $250, or even $500 supports the work and expands the influence of PRI Fellows like Wayne Winegarden as they advance practical, liberty-minded policies that empower small business owners and would-be entrepreneurs.
Support PRI's Reclaiming the American Dream Campaign
You and I are in this fight for every American, and we’re in it for the long term. By joining your support to PRI’s ambitious Reclaiming the American Dream Campaign, we can educate federal, state, and local policymakers to embrace and promote policy changes that spur entrepreneurial growth and economic mobility.

This is vitally important work. An America without entrepreneurship is no America at all.

Thank you, in advance, for your continued support of PRI and the American Dream—and for helping us make this Giving Tuesday count!

Sincerely,
Sally C. Pipes
President, CEO, and Thomas W. Smith Fellow in Health Care Policy

P.S. Your year-end gift of $1,000 or more will automatically enroll you/renew your membership in PRI's Sir Antony Fisher Freedom Society, which recognizes our closest friends and most loyal supporters and gives them exclusive access to PRI's events, publications, scholars, and leadership.
