After a year that raised critical questions about public health, racial justice, the economy, and politics, getting together with family for the holidays (hopefully over Zoom) can also be a conversation minefield. Engaging constructively with family members whose views and experiences are at odds with our own can be a challenge. And so we've updated one of our most popular resources on how to navigate holiday conversations.

As coronavirus cases surge again, we are starting to see record numbers across the country. Dr. Fauci warns of a "surge upon a surge" around the corner, following a record number of travelers over the holiday weekend. We know that this pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities of color, immigrant communities, incarcerated communities, and low-income communities. We also know how important it is to center the conversation on equity.
