Babies: Since 2014, Jbaby “delivered” 220 infants as part of our pre-natal education program.
Families: The largest community outreach program in Detroit, PJ Library Detroit has given out 258,000 free books to Jewish children in the Detroit area.
Teens: Election 2020, over 1,100 teenagers and their families accessed the JCC’s online election resource guide requested by and created for Jewish teenagers.
Special Needs: 131 children with special learning needs enjoyed a summer camp experience. During COVID over 700 children are being served in Jewish schools.
Culture: At 69 years and going strong, the JCC has the oldest and one of the largest Jewish book fairs in the country; 2,451 household viewed movies at our virtual film festival; 5,040 people visited the art gallery; 750 patrons used the library; and nearly 26,000 people occupied seats in the theatre.
Education: Last year 1,900 adults enrolled in Jewish education classes and an additional 740 people attended SAJE’s world-class speaker series.
Seniors: 827 JCC trips were taken by our mature travelers; 165 adults participated inIRP’s self-led discussion groups; 2,534 of our most elderly attended programs, art classes and movies.
