Dear John xxxxxx,
This Giving Tuesday, as we continue the holiday season at home, I feel deep gratitude for my family, friends, health, and freedom. I am grateful that many of our members now have the right to vote. I am grateful for allies like you who support our community, especially in these challenging times.
I know this season brings joy for some and sorrow for others, and that this holiday season may be lonelier than most - especially for our brothers and sisters inside, for whom home is still a dream. People incarcerated in California prisons have not seen their families since March 2020, further exacerbating the hardship of their incarceration. Though these times are challenging on many fronts, I hope that you will consider making a donation to ARC this Giving Tuesday so that we can continue to build better and brighter futures for our members.
