With colder temperatures approaching, Chicago’s homeless animals are more vulnerable than ever. Many are already undernourished or weakened by disease and the winter is just beginning. You can help now – by making your Giving Tuesday donation. So many animals, like Jambalaya above, who found refuge at PAWS after evacuating a shelter in Louisiana during Hurricane Delta, are saved thanks to your generosity. PAWS Chicago is changing the landscape for animals in Chicago and across the country.


With advanced medicine, we save 98% of animals in our care.

We received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, their highest rating, for the 18^th consecutive year.

This year, we will find forever families for more than 4,000 animals.

We're on schedule to perform more than 10,000 free or low-cost spay/neuter surgeries during this pandemic year.

We've distributed 25,194 pounds of food in underserved neighborhoods through our Pet Food Pantry to loving families who may otherwise not have been able to care for their pets.
