Giving Tuesday is one of the most important days of the year for
nonprofits, and Common Dreams is no different.

People donated nearly $2 billion on last year's Giving Tuesday,
providing an influx of funding that organizations count on to carry them
through the rest of the year.

The problem is that if we don't hit our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal,
there's no way to make it up—and right now, with half the day already
gone, we are concerned to see that we are behind the pace we need to
reach that goal.

With democracy under attack and corporate consolidation eroding public
trust in the corporate media, there has never been a more important time
for progressive, nonprofit journalism.

We have 10 hours left to meet our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal of
