Dear John,

Meet Evie Fordham.

Evie is a reporter for Fox Business, where she breaks news every day.

ISI kickstarted her career three years ago, when Evie was still a college student. It all started when ISI placed her in a reporting internship at the Raleigh News and Observer.
Did you know that every year, ISI’s Collegiate Network journalism program gives about 20 outstanding young journalists like Evie their professional start?

And on this Giving Tuesday, you can launch the careers of 2 more young journalists. ([link removed])

ISI must raise $10,000 to fund a summer journalism internship like the one that started Evie Fordham’s career.

And for Giving Tuesday, an anonymous donor has pledged to match every dollar you give up to $10,000!

Imagine the experience you can provide for young people who want to counter rampant media bias.

Evie Fordham wrote dozens of stories during her ISI-sponsored summer at the News and Observer—a rare experience for an intern.

“I got to do real reporting—no busywork,” Evie says.

Why? Because, she says, “my editor knew she could trust an intern from ISI’s Collegiate Network to find stories and write them competently and efficiently.”

Major publications clamor for ISI talent for the same reason. Just ask editors at outlets like USA Today, The Hill, National Review, the Washington Examiner, and the American Conservative.

John, will you help us launch the careers of 2 more journalists like Evie? ([link removed])

ISI student journalists like Evie are eager to report the facts.

They want a career reporting the truth, not the progressive narrative.

ISI’s Collegiate Network identifies these talented conservative journalists and puts them on a career fast track.

By contributing to the $10,000 goal, you will help an outstanding young reporter like Evie Fordham land a prestigious journalism internship.

And remember, for this Giving Tuesday, an ISI supporter has pledged to match your gift dollar for dollar. So when we hit the $10,000 goal, we’ll ensure not 1 intern but 2!

Together we can put 2 smart, talented young conservatives in major newsrooms ([link removed]) next summer!

This is your chance to jump-start the careers of thoughtful young journalists who will challenge the progressive orthodoxy in media.

Can I count on you this Giving Tuesday?

Yes, I will help launch 2 journalism careers! ([link removed])
Sincerely,

John A. Burtka, IV
President and CEO

P.S. Evie Fordham told ISI, “I really appreciate that ISI recognizes the importance of investing in journalists at the beginning of their careers and helping them get real-world experience.” Will you help 2 more young journalists get that invaluable experience ([link removed]) ?
