Less than a month ago, California's government unions were pushing property tax hikes, affirmative action, rent control, and other self-serving policies through the initiative process.
While they didn't win every battle on Election Day, those unions rake in nearly $1 billion each year in dues -- $2.7 million every day – money they use to run the campaigns of politicians who, once in office, rubber-stamp every knuckle-headed union initiative imaginable.
The struggle isn't confined just to California. In only a matter of weeks, with Joe Biden taking over the White House in January, there will be fewer federal checks on California progressives.
That's why it's so important that the California Policy Center (CPC) continues to fight for policies that advance freedom. With just a fraction of the resources available to the unions, CPC works every day for a dynamic economy and for individual liberty.
We at CPC understand what a trying year it has been for all of our supporters, and we are thankful for all the support we've received.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, we ask that you consider supporting CPC again to help elevate voices of reason in California.
