THERE ARE JUST A FEW DAYS LEFT TO
APPLY FOR THE SELAH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR JEWS OF COLOR.
Friend—
Last week at the Democratic Presidential Debate, we saw a stage
full of women, children of immigrants, and people of color grapple
with issues like racism, white nationalism, and access to resources in
our country.
This is a historic moment: A new America is emerging, and
we are part of it.
The Selah Leadership Program for Jewish leaders of
color is helping make this emergence possible — and it’s not
too late to apply or nominate someone who is ready for this
opportunity.
The
last day to nominate or apply for Selah Cohort 16 for Jews of Color is
this Sunday, September 22.
The healing and leadership of people of color is necessary for a
future where we are all safer.
It’s why Bend the Arc is fiercely committed to building a
multiracial democracy where all of us can live, love, and thrive.
With the Selah Leadership Program, we are getting there by
supporting the leaders our communities need on the frontlines.
There
are only a few days left to apply, will you help spread the word as
far as possible?
Here are the details:
In the Selah Program, participants from around the country
experience personal transformation, organizational optimization, and
deep collaboration skill development within a Jewish framework.
For the third cohort in a row, Selah Cohort 16 is focusing on
creating a space for the development, inspiration, healing,
and connection for Jewish people of color.
Over a period of six months, Jewish people of color who play
significant leadership roles in Jewish and non-Jewish social change
organizations will come together to experience intensive leadership
and management training, networking and community building, and
ongoing learning.
This is the change we need in these times, and I want to
make sure that the people who need this opportunity in this moment
find it. Can you help?
Applications
to join the upcoming Selah cohort close on September 22. Submit an
application today or help us spread the word to Jewish people of color
in your community.
I love answering questions — reply to this email to connect

In service and strength,
Leili Davari, Selah Program Manager
