Serving Rural Missouri

The Missouri Conference office of Mission, Service and Justice is offering discussions on ways the Conference can serve rural Missouri. They are seeking input from individuals who have experience working with rural populations via ministry, healthcare, education, etc., or who feel a calling to work in rural Missouri. The first opportunity for conversation will be held at the Conference Office (3601 Amron Ct, Columbia, MO 65202) on October 1 from 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. The second opportunity will be held at Cameron United Methodist Church (201 North Pine, Cameron, MO 64429) on October 28 from 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Lunch is being provided both days by the Office of Mission, Service, and Justice. In order to ensure a lively and interactive discussion, they are capping registration at 25. For questions, contact Sidney Owens at [email protected] or 573-474-3332.
