Our democracy is founded on fair and free elections, and our faith that every single ballot we cast will be counted towards the candidate of our choosing. So you would think that when a Senate report determined that the Russians tried to hack into election systems in all 50 states in 2016, members of Congress would cast partisanship aside to protect our democracy. But instead, we got Moscow Mitch.
