Support teachers and students on #GivingTuesday “What I found to be a successful tool during remote teaching was the National Constitution Center’s Scholar Exchange Program for students. The topics they covered were always relatable and engaging while also addressing curriculum.” High school teacher Alyssa Anderson in The New York Times Dear John, Thank you for being part of the inspiring mission of the National Constitution Center. The week after Thanksgiving, my colleagues and I are feeling lots of gratitude for the opportunity to serve as part of this meaningful institution, which is such an important platform for learning and light. In that spirit, I’m thrilled to share this recent great piece from The Philadelphia Inquirer suggesting that the National Constitution Center has become America’s go-to resource for balanced, trusted information about the constitutional debates at the heart of American life. As the piece notes, the National Constitution Center is now the third-most-visited museum website in America. All of our online content, including our classes, America’s Town Hall programs, and We the People podcasts are accessible on the Interactive Constitution which has received more than 36 million unique views since its launch in 2015. Students, teachers, and lifelong learners across America are participating in our online programs. Since March, our online classes have reached more than 80,000 middle school, high school, college, and adult learners in all 50 states and in 20 countries. Class topics include the three branches of government, the Electoral College, Federalism, founding ideals, the Bill of Rights, the Reconstruction Amendments, and landmark Supreme Court cases. If you or your children are interested in remote learning about the Constitution, please join us live or check out the archived videos. Your gift today and throughout this season of giving can ensure that the Center’s online content is accessible for all, no matter where learning takes place and can help us: Reach more teachers and students in underserved communities Enhance the audio and video production capabilities of our online classes Build awareness of and increase engagement with these programs from 80,000 participants to hundreds of thousands of students nationwide Thank you for being part of the National Constitution Center family and for supporting our crucially important mission of constitutional education for all. Together we can ensure that teachers, students, and lifelong learners of all backgrounds across America—can be inspired by learning about the text, meaning, and history of the U.S. Constitution. With appreciation, Jeffrey Rosen President and CEO DONATE BECOME A MEMBER In this recent Scholar Exchange class, on the The Bill of Rights, award-winning author and constitutional scholar Linda R.
