Dessie's Story

Dessie lives on a small area of land with her children. Farming day in day out, on tired soil, she constantly worries about how she will be able to feed her family. Extreme weather caused by climate change continues to destroy her crops, leaving families like hers with little to eat.

"Climate change is killing us. We had no such problems in the past. We used to grow whatever we wanted. There was no extreme weather. Now the weather is leaving the farmer hopeless."
