Left to Give on Giving Tuesday

Dear John,

There's never been a stronger possibility for meaningful climate
solutions. President-elect Biden has established climate change as a top
priority. But, a narrowly divided Congress will require Democrats and
Republicans to work together to get a bill onto the President's desk. We
are diligently working to make that happen. Will you help?

DONATE NOW

Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 in total and $200,000 today alone, for
#GivingTuesday. And this year, we have a make or break matching gift
challenge. Meaning, if we make our Giving Tuesday milestone goal, we
have a donor who has agreed to make an additional $100,000 matching
contribution! Will you help us secure these funds by making a
tax-deductible gift to Citizens' Climate Education today?

For years, Citizens' Climate has been steadily and strategically
bringing policymakers together on climate. Our volunteers are notorious
on Capitol Hill for their ability to build trusting relationships with
members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. And, we already have a
proven track record of cultivating broad, bipartisan support for
climate-smart policies. Policies such as the Energy Innovation Act, the
Better Energy Storage Technology (BEST) Act, and Growing Climate
Solutions Act.

Now, if we want to achieve significant climate gains in the next year,
we must strengthen and scale our grassroots capacity. In 2021, we'll
recruit more conservative constituents to meet with Republican members
of Congress, helping change conversations on climate back in their home
states. We'll continue expanding our diversity, equity, and inclusion
efforts — both internally and out in the field. Lastly, we'll ramp up
our state-level work in order to drive the country toward a unified
carbon pricing policy. Will you help us lead the way?

Each year we rely on individuals like you to invest in our grassroots
work. And this year is more important than ever. Whether you're able to
give $10, $100, or $1,000+, every donation counts! Together, we can
ensure significant and lasting climate solutions in Congress.

With Gratitude,

Mark Reynolds
