Watch Our Next Webinar Live This Thursday! Register here to join ConservAmerica, Bracewell Partner Scott H. Segal, and E&E Reporter Lesley Clark for a webinar this Thursday at 2:00 PM Eastern. We will focus on energy and environment legislation and regulation in the lame-duck and next year under a Biden administration, as well as provide an update on the transition process. You can also watch one of our previous webinars, featuring Clinton White House official, Roger Ballentine, which was recorded before the election and focused on climate policy in a potential Biden Administration. Among other efforts, we hosted a webinar, issued statements, and wrote op-eds and letters to policymakers opposing the project. Given the size of the deposit and its location near the headwaters of a prized salmon fishery, it was a project that simply presented too many risks to be in the public interest. Last week, after the Army Corps of Engineers denied the permit, we released a statement applauding the Trump Administration in reaching the correct outcome while allowing the federal review process to run its course without political interference.
