We began the not-for-profit Florida Bulldog in 2009 to bring you our unique brand of free, independent and nonpartisan watchdog reporting. Eleven years and more than 1,100 locally produced stories later about government, politics, business and the courts, we like to think we’ve become a part of the fabric of the South Florida community.
 
But finding and reporting those stories is hard, time-consuming work. And we rely on the generosity of our readers for the financial support we need to continue.  Today, Dec. 1, is #Giving Tuesday, or as we prefer #GivingNewsday, a national all to action.
 
Now through Dec. 31, NewsMatch will double your donation to Florida Bulldog. We are an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are tax deductible. For transparency, we acknowledge all donors on our site.
