Today, nonprofits around the country celebrate Giving Tuesday, a day to recognize and support those civic, religious, and charitable organizations that do so much good in our communities.
 
First Things is one of those organizations. Through our magazine, website, and events, we reach tens of thousands of readers every day and influence leading voices in government, the church, and the academy with a prophetic message of religious truth for a society that is spiritually unmoored.

This month marks the end of our 30th anniversary year. The upheavals of 2020 have posed many challenges. Fortunately, we are guided by unchanging truths. These truths have served us as an anchor for three decades. As we press forward to 2021, we keep our eyes open to the difficulties that await us. But we do so in hope, knowing that the God of history watches over us.
