Republican Senators like Lindsey Graham figured that if they shouted loudly enough during Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing that they could drown out the chorus of voices accusing him of sexual misconduct --

But no temper tantrum can distract from the fact that Kavanaugh has a long and disturbing history of attacking women and expecting to face no consequences for it.
