Friend,

I wanted to tell you a bit about my friend, Oregon's U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley:

Jeff believes, like I do, that our transition to clean energy across the country is being blocked by Big Fossil Fuel interests and everyone tied to the big money that comes with it. Like me, he's committed to fighting our climate crisis -- that's why we need to keep him in the U.S. Senate next year:

Join me in fighting to keep a climate hero in the U.S. Senate -- split a donation of $5 or more between our reelection campaigns to support our work ahead.

One of the (many!) reasons I'm so proud to support Jeff is because he's shown a lifelong commitment to defeating our climate crisis.

Like me, he believes the future of humanity is at risk.

We must take bold action to reverse the climate crisis. Tinkering around the edges is no longer enough. We must invest in a shift to 100% clean and renewable energy sources. And we need a Green New Deal to ensure that as we drive this transition, we create millions of good-paying family jobs and invest in the front-line communities that have often been left behind. EVERYONE HAS A PLACE IN OUR CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE.

This is exactly why we need to keep climate champions like Jeff Merkley in the Senate: Split a donation of $5 or more to keep both of us in office and support major climate action today.

Very truly yours,

Jay
