Today is #GivingTuesday, and across the globe, supporters and volunteers are banding together to help the nonprofits that mean the most to them. Each year, millions come together the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday to celebrate the power of giving, volunteerism, and simple acts of kindness. #GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to generosity.
You can be a part of this philanthropic movement and support all that the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) has done in its twenty-five year history by donating $25, $250, $2,500 or more this #GivingTuesday ([link removed]). Every gift makes a difference.
As we celebrate 25 years, CDT is fighting harder than ever to protect your right to privacy and freedom of expression online, and to stop the overreaching use of surveillance technologies. We're helping school districts and families protect student privacy during the pandemic, responding to mis- and disinformation around the 2020 elections, and combatting the dangers of data and discrimination.
As we celebrate our history and look to the future in this unparalleled time, CDT is striving to make a difference. #GivingTuesday is one of the many ways you can join us to make that difference today.
Every donation counts, no matter the size. If you are able, please consider donating in honor of CDT's 25th anniversary ([link removed]) on #GivingTuesday - today!
Thank you for your continued support of CDT. Together, we are putting democracy and individual rights at the center of the digital revolution.
