NLC DC fellows and alumni remain on the frontlines of the work pushing for real, progressive change in Washington, DC and throughout the DMV Region. With so much at stake in the 2020 election, many of our folks stepped up to run campaigns, creatively organize communities during a pandemic, and volunteer their time, talents, and resources to ensure the voices in our democracy reflect our communities.

Because of our generous supporters, NLC DC alumni leverage the tools and networks they gain from the Institute and put them towards creating the change needed in communities across the DC Region.
