Friends, this is a long email, but it's important so I hope you read the whole thing.

I'm disappointed I didn't get to share my ideas with you during the third televised debate. So I want to take a moment to share my thoughts with you right here and now.

Someone has to be consistently telling the truth -- telling a better story about the future we can share together.

There are so many important issues facing the American people today that too many of my fellow candidates are ignoring. I want to make sure I keep telling these truths.

First, the best economic outcomes are achieved when the government, the private sector and the nonprofit sector work well together. We have to stop thinking in silos with "government-only" solutions, or "business only" solutions, and we have to start unleashing our full potential by embracing collaboration and common-sense solutions. Collaboration plus common purpose equals progress.

Here are a few other things that we need to prioritize:

We must reject isolationism, whether it's Trump's perverted form of nationalism or Democrats' anti-trade policies, and continue to engage globally and with our allies.
Every American should have essential government health care coverage, including mental health, for free. I have a fully paid for plan to make that happen -- but that should not be done by eliminating private insurance and forcing people off their current plans.
We need to raise wages, provide tax credits to workers, build infrastructure, and invest in the communities that have been left behind.
There's a common theme between these points, and all the points I make.

Extreme solutions won't work. Whether it's Donald Trump's radical laws, or socialist policies from the far left. We need to find a common ground to work together or nothing will get done.

I believe that people like you reading this email right now are sick of politicians getting nothing done in DC. The gridlock, the name calling, and the mindless bickering need to end. And that takes someone who's able to bring together both sides on a common ground.
