CLASP
Dear John,
Thank you again for joining CLASP's online community and for helping us to advance economic security for low-income families and individuals. Our work depends on support from people like you who help us spread the word about effective anti-poverty programs and connect policymakers, advocates, and organizers with policy solutions that will make a difference.
Over the past two years, we have witnessed the greatest threats in our lifetime to core programs that support basic needs. Thanks to CLASP's generous supporters some of the harshest assaults have been blunted or stopped, and we see opportunities to turn the tide ahead. Nonetheless, President Trump has significantly harmed countless people.
Low-income families and individuals, people of color, and immigrants and their families have suffered from the devastating far-reaching attacks from the Trump Administration. In the coming year, the stakes will remain high.
We know it will be important to keep up the momentum to hold the line on harmful policies, while laying the foundation for powerful steps in the anti-poverty and racial equity agenda that defines our work at CLASP. *This is a crucial moment for America, and that's why we need you!*
CLASP is committed to fighting back on behalf of low-income communities and families while simultaneously advancing a strong, positive agenda for our country. New governors and state legislators to be sworn in next January have changed the playing field in the states–and we plan to be there supporting on-the-ground advocates with tested ideas to help low-income workers.
We couldn't do our work without critical support from individuals stepping up to demonstrate their commitment to a vision of economic and racial justice for all. *Will you help us make a difference for these families by donating a monthly gift to CLASP [ [link removed] ]?*
Any amount you donate-either with a monthly or one-time gift [ [link removed] ]-will help us to advance policy solutions for low-income communities. Can we count on you?
Yours,
Olivia Golden
Executive Director
