Today is Giving Tuesday -- and if you’re going to give today, I urge you to put your support behind Philabundance, our region’s largest hunger-relief organization.

 

Every year, Philabundance distributes roughly 28 million pounds of food to Pennsylvania communities. But since the beginning of the economic crisis in March, they’ve already provided more than 30 million pounds to people in need.

 

With the increase in the number of people depending on food banks to provide for their families, Philabundance needs our help. Will you join me in supporting their fight to end hunger by giving $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can on this Giving Tuesday?

 

As cases continue to spike, families in need are relying on local food pantries more than ever. While I focus on passing legislation through the House to end food insecurity, I hope you will stand with me to support the groups who are working to ensure families, single parents, seniors, students, veterans, and children have access to food they otherwise would not have.
