It’s Giving Tuesday! This is one of the most important fundraising days of the year for us, especially as we’re looking toward our budget for 2021. Below we’ll tell you some more details about our plans for next year, but if you’re already on board and ready to support us (or if you have a LOT of emails to read), here’s what you need to know: a donor is matching every gift up to $50,000, so your dollars will go twice as far if you give by midnight tonight.

So what are all the big plans we’re working to fund? As we look into the next phase of our work, we’re building out programs that will strengthen and deepen our movement to lay the groundwork for transformative reform. Here’s what that means in practice:

• Keeping organizers on the ground to support local activists. Each of our 21 organizers will help dozens or even hundreds of group leaders to foster more powerful groups, through strategic plans for recruitment, retention, leadership, and campaign plans. And in turn, those group leaders empower thousands of activists to have a real impact and build an effective movement.
  
  
• Direct group support and tools for activism. Whether through direct grants for specific projects or tools and software that groups can use to deepen their impact, we provide the resources that Indivisible activists need to sharpen their skills, expand their capabilities, and coordinate with other groups in their communities.
  
  
• Training and support for inclusive leadership. We’re expecting to be supporting over 5,000 Indivisible leaders in the new year. Our work to strengthen their leadership skills will include transformative training opportunities to increase racial equity and justice, educate leaders on the issues and strategy options, and respond to what groups need to lead powerfully in their specific contexts.

We’ll make all this happen by continuing to build and strengthen a coordinated network of groups that can leverage a unified voice and learn from one another as they work for nationwide priorities.

Like all our work, our movement-building activities rely on help from grassroots supporters like you.
