From 1968, when my mother started a summer camp for kids with intellectual disabilities (ID) in our backyard; to now, where our programs reach more than 5.7 million athletes worldwide -- athletes have always been our top priority. Through sports, people with ID find joy, confidence, and fulfillment. They inspire entire communities to open their hearts and minds. They show us we can never be satisfied until everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

Thanks to supporters like you, we've come so far since the days in my mother's backyard. But, we still have a long way to go for the 200 million people with ID around the world.
