We are so proud of what we have accomplished with the rental assistance program. So many of our neighbors are struggling to pay their rent during these unprecedented times. With another surge of COVID cases, temperatures dropping still no federal relief in sight, we have to count on each other now more than ever. If you can afford to help out, please donate today.

The Mayor's Fund is working with community partners that are on the front lines to stem a potential landslide of evictions, to help as many families as possible retain the home they have. The Fund is now accepting tax-deductible donations that will directly prevent the eviction and homelessness of many of our neighbors. To contribute vital resources to this campaign, click here.
“New Orleanians have a track record of helping our neighbors when disaster strikes and things get tough. We know from firsthand experience that we can’t wait on the cavalry—our community is the cavalry,” said Mayor Cantrell. “During disasters like this, the needs will outpace the resources, but we’re going to get through this together.”
Holidays are upon us, and New Orleanians across the city continue to face steep economic challenges, with unemployment benefits expired and many jobs still shuttered or providing fewer hours. Contributions to the Mayor's Fund can be made here.
Thank you for helping your neighbors in need.
